How to Install Small Universal Grounding Kit equal to Andrew GK-SUNV?

Information

HDG Telecom's Small Universal Grounding Kit can be used for 1/4 in through 5/8 in cables, or LMR100 to LMR600 cable, which cable is under 0.6 inch. The cables can be corrugated coaxial cables, braided coaxial cables and armored hybrid fiber cables. It's equal to Andrew GK-SUNV.

The installation for GK-SUNV is easy and fast.

First, make sure the small circle is inserted to the tinned copper strap, as below picture.

Second, remove the 1/4" to 3/4" of jacket from braided cable or smoothwall cable. Then install the GK-SUNV to the cable. And compact the small circle.

Third, cut about 5 inch of butyl rubber. Wrap the cable and grounding kit like below picture. Please pinch the agglutinate self colloid closely. Cable must be revolved tightly.

Finally, cut 4 pieces of PVC tape, each piece 8 inch. Then wrap the cable like below picture. Please note each piece should cover on the last piece to ensure exellent waterproofing.
