HDG Telecom has introduced one-piece silicone rubber weather seal boots for Jumper Cables. These boots support 3/8 in superflexible jumper cable , 3/8 in standard jumper cable, 1/2 in superflexible jumper cable , 1/2 in standard jumper cable, and 250 in jumper cable with different RF connectors, have an IP-68 rating, are fully UV resistant and easy to use.In practical applications, these boots can be slid forward and will seal to the female bulkhead on an antenna or other RF accessories. They can be purchased loose or already assembled onto a HDG built Low PIM jumper cables.

This solution is quicker, easier, and more cost-effective than traditional weatherproofing solutions like Tapes, Cold shrink tubing, gel seal closure...

It allows for one-handed installation and improves connector longevity in high salinity environments, while protecting other equipment from corrosion and degeneration caused by the elements.

The new boot is waterproof to IP 68 ratings to ensure watertight sealing, safeguard connectivity, and reduce potential downtime and associated costs.

It also helps protect against other extreme weather conditions including wind-driven rain, freezing temperatures.It has been rigorously tested to ensure its high-strength silicone rubber material won trip or tear during installation or product placement.
